The first step is the quote. In order for us to give you an accurate idea of the cost of graphic design work we must first establish what will be included, how many changes will be involved and who will be responsible for production.

Below is a quote form that must be filled out at the beginning of each new project. It will help detail the scope of the project and give us a better understanding of costs and your budget for the project.

Please keep in mind that all quotes are estimates within 15% above or below their final cost.

Give a detailed description of the project. This includes what type of project it is (i.e. logo, identity package, brochure, poster, advertisements, package design, annual report) and the scope of the project (i.e. number of pages, items to be included in an identity package). *

Will you provide the text content or will we?

Will you provide photographs or illustrations or will we? If we provide illustrations or photography will stock images (cheaper) be used or custom images (more expensive) be used? Stock or Royalty Free images have the potential to be used by many other entities while custom images will be more unique in nature.

What is the number of initial concept designs desired? The number of initial concept designs directly relates to the flexibility of the client. Clients who desire a high level of control over the final design will naturally select more initial design concepts while clients who leave more freedom with us, the designer, will select fewer. Generally fewer initial design concepts result in a lower cost. Generally three initial designs is average.

What is the number of rounds of changes that will be completed? Again the client who desires greater control over the work will request more rounds of changes and will pay a greater cost. Generally the minimum number of rounds is two and can go as high as the client desires.

Is there a deadline that needs to be met? Deadlines set within 5 days of the project agreement being signed are subject to a rush fee.

Are there any 3rd party companies that will be used during production? (i.e. printer, manufacturer)
